National Latinx HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is a day that aims to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and encourage the use of prevention and treatment methods within our Latinx community. In observation of this day, we will be offering a week-long series of events at each of our centers. This comes at a crucial moment, as a recent report in The Lancet predicts that the United States is likely to miss its End the HIV Epidemic goal of reducing the annual new HIV infections to fewer than 3,000 by 2030 so long as there continues to be a lack of resources and funding for HIV prevention and treatment.
